Manager, Civil Engineering
The Engineering Manager supervises a team of Engineers and/or Designers and provides technical leadership direction. The incumbent coordinates the team’s activities to meet production and quality goals. The incumbent has full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating technical assignments, ensuring that standards and procedures are adhered to, and recommending process improvements. The Engineering Manager plans approaches for team members working on tasks involving non-standard engineering issues. The incumbent also collaborates with peers and other departments to help minimize problems with workflow or changes that would impact the team and also provides to the team guidance on rules and regulations on technical matters pertaining to structural, civil and/or architectural engineering.
